In 1961, representatives from Ozona Baptist Church, broke ground on a small piece of donated land in the city of Oldsmar. They could not have foreseen the future impact of that little mission they started on the shores of northern Tampa Bay. Oldsmar Baptist Church grew through the 60's but flourished in the revival of the 1970's under then pastor, John Stanton. Oldsmar Christian School was Pastor Stanton's vision opening in 1980, serving Kindergarten through twelfth grade. Truly, our church and school have influenced thousands through the years. Eddie Preston, was our pastor for over 40 years, he was passionate about Jesus and OCS. The Lord brought him home on August 31, 2023.
